W. P. Carey & Co. LLC Names Benjamin P. Harris Second Vice President

NEW YORK, NY – November 16, 2000 – W. P Carey & Co. LLC (NYSE: WPC), a leading real estate investment banking firm and lessor of net leased corporate properties, today announced the appointment of Benjamin P. Harris as Second Vice President.

Mr. Harris joined W. P. Carey & Co. as an Analyst in June 1998, was promoted to the position of Acquisitions Associate in March 1999 and Second Vice President in 2000. Mr. Harris received a B.S. in Economics in June 1998 from the University of Kings College in Canada where he concentrated in Finance.
